They're simply designed to ensure you're comfortable and confident in the water before beginning your scuba adventures. Perfect for beginners, this course combines classroom learning, pool training in our private on-site pool, and open water dives at Blue Heron Bridge and Phil Foster Park. With experienced PADI instructors and ideal training conditions, you'll gain the skills and confidence to become a certified diver—ready to explore dive sites around the world. Course Includes Knowledge Development Build a solid foundation in scuba diving through classroom instruction or PADI eLearning. You'll learn diving principles, equipment, safety procedures, dive planning, and underwater communication to prepare for your underwater adventures. Confined Water Training Practice essential scuba skills in the comfort of our private on-site pool before heading into open water. You'll gain confidence using your equipment, breathing underwater, controlling buoyancy, clearing your mask, recovering your regulator, and mastering the basic skills needed to dive safely. You'll also complete the required swimming and floating assessments.​ Open Water Training Dives Put your new skills into action during your open water training dives with a certified PADI instructor. These supervised dives take place at Blue Heron Bridge and other nearby dive sites, where you'll complete your certification while exploring Florida's incredible underwater world. Dive locations may vary depending on weather, visibility, tides, and ocean conditions.
