This beginner-friendly experience lets you experience breathing underwater with guidance from a professional dive instructor. After learning basic scuba skills in a relaxed environment, you’ll head to Blue Heron Bridge at Phil Foster Park for a guided ocean dive. Known for its shallow waters, calm conditions, and incredible marine life, it’s an ideal introduction to scuba diving. Keep an eye out for tropical fish, rays, sea turtles, octopus, seahorses, starfish, and more! - What to Expect Start with a pool session where your instructor will introduce the scuba equipment, review safety procedures and hand signals, and teach basic skills like breathing underwater, clearing your mask, and equalizing your ears. Once you’re comfortable, head to Blue Heron Bridge for a guided ocean dive in approximately 12–15 feet of water. Your instructor stays with you throughout the dive to ensure you feel safe and comfortable. Dive time varies based on your comfort level, air consumption, and daily water conditions. - Medical Requirements For your safety, all participants must complete a Diver Medical Questionnaire before participating. Certain medical conditions, medications, or recent surgeries may require written approval from a physician before you can dive. If you have asthma, heart or lung conditions, epilepsy, diabetes, a history of collapsed lung, are pregnant, or have recently undergone surgery, please contact us before booking to determine if you're eligible to participate.
